Great victory. Lets hear it for fear mongering and the status quo circa 2001-2008. Get ready for the GOP to take the lead with pretty much the same apprach as they've taken for the last two years...sitting on their hands and saying "no".

no one has ever gotten brain damage from clean drinking water/better nutrition either. Not saying that this in and of itself will prevent communicable diseases, but it certainly strengthens overall immunity and decreases the mortality rate from them.

response to your points... 1. the concentration on vaccination is always on the children, without including the adults who are assumed to still retain immunity from decades old inoculations.

Individual waning immunity, and complete lack of immunity are likely rampant in large portions of the population, yet we're not all dropping like flies. Further, outbreaks have occurred in areas with near 100% vaccininated population.

"Vaccines are the greatest medical advance of the past 100 years." So to would be better nutrition, access to clean drinking water and basic hygeine, which likely lead to the dramatic decline of communicable diseases long before the introduction of vaccines.

most vaccine proponents turn a blind eye to the very real injuries vaccines can cause, and the fact that studies of long term efficacy and safety of the cummulative vaccine schedule we impose on our children has never been completed.
